Myler 3-Ring Combination Bit with 6" Shank and Sweet Iron Ported Barrel (MB 33, Level 3)

Toklat Originals

Note: This product may take 5-7 business days to ship.

The Myler 3-Ring Combination Bit with a Medium Wide Ported Barrel (MB 33, Level 3) is a highly versatile hybrid bit that features a noseband and chinstrap connected through the purchase and a choice of rein positions: a big ring for direct pressure or lower rings for a mild leverage effect. Using the lower rings causes the horse to feel rein pressure in the nose, chin, and poll before the mouthpiece, allowing the horse to respond to rein aids before mouthpiece pressure fully engages. The medium, wide port on the mullen mouthpiece offers maximum tongue relief with little palate pressure, making it ideal for a trustworthy, well-trained horse.

Key Benefits

  • Level Up: Myler's unique "level" system means there's a bit for your horse no matter their training. Level 3 bits offer maximum tongue relief and work using bar, poll, and curb pressure with little to no tongue pressure. Ideal for experienced, trustworthy, and consistent horses with mild to no control issues.
  • The Basics: Stainless-steel 3-ring combination bit with 6" shanks. Sweet iron mullen mouthpiece with a 1 ½" medium, wide port and copper inlay for salivation. Leather noseband with knotted cord and a chin strap made of synthetic material to avoid stretching over time. Available in three sizes.
  • 3-Ring Combination: Choose the big ring for direct pressure or the lower rings for a mild leverage effect. Mouthpiece can slide 1" before engaging. Noseband and chin strap are connected though the purchase, which swivels independently and is slightly angled to prevent rubbing.
  • Medium Wide Ported Barrel (MB 33): Offers maximum tongue relief with little palate pressure. The mildest mouthpiece with ISM. Does not rotate on the tongue.
  • Independent Swivel Cheek: The purchase of the cheek piece is able to move independently of the shank, preventing it from poking or rubbing the horse’s cheek when the reins are engaged.
  • Independent Side Movement: Entire shank moves independently from the mouthpiece which means more control and clearer communication between you and your horse.
