University of Tennessee at Martin Equestrian Team Partners with Corro for Innovative Affiliate Program, Requesting National Engagement & Support

The University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM) Division 1 Equestrian Team, a self-funded program, proudly announces an inaugural partnership with Corro, a leading online marketplace for equestrian products. This groundbreaking collaboration marks the first collegiate affiliate program between Corro and a university equestrian team, establishing a seamless fundraising initiative that benefits both the team and the broader equestrian community.

A Seamless Fundraising Opportunity

Through Corro’s user-friendly affiliate platform, UTM Equestrian will earn 10% of sales made. This initiative empowers supporters across the country to shop from Corro’s curated selection of trusted equestrian products while giving back to UTM’s self-funded team. The program provides the UTM Equestrian Team with a passive income stream, enabling the team to focus on training and competitions while effortlessly generating funds.

Corro offers a wide range of equestrian products, including horse-care essentials such as supplements, equine therapy tools, stable supplies, grooming tools, riding apparel, tack, equipment, and lifestyle gifts. All items are accessible at CorroShop.com, allowing barns and riders nationwide to contribute directly to UTM’s Equestrian Program.

Strengthening Community Connections

Corro was first introduced to UTM Equestrian through Darby Gardner, Head of Sales and the Concierge Program, and a former D1 equestrian student-athlete. “Through my understanding of the needs of collegiate equestrian programs and by working with the coaches to supply grooming products for the team, it became clear that the affiliate program would be mutually beneficial for both parties.”

This partnership not only supports UTM’s fundraising goals but also fosters a stronger relationship with the equestrian community. By promoting products they trust and use, the UTM Equestrian Team engages with their network of riders, followers, and supporters in an authentic and meaningful way. The team will amplify the program’s success by sharing the referral code across various channels, including social media, home barns, and team events.

A Shared Vision for Success

“This partnership is a win-win for our team and our community,” said Kim Leiter-Janes, Head Coach of the UTM Women’s Equestrian Team. “Not only does it provide us with a new fundraising opportunity, but it also allows us to promote high-quality products that we believe in, aligning perfectly with our values and commitment to the equestrian sport.”

Corro is equally enthusiastic about the collaboration. Tatum Tatreau, Head of Merchandising, stated, “We’re thrilled to launch our first collegiate affiliate program with UTM Equestrian. This partnership embodies our mission of supporting the equestrian community and helping riders at all levels succeed.”
