Herm Sprenger KK Ultra Sensogan 14mm Loose Ring Snaffle
Description
The elegant and innovative Herm Sprenger KK Ultra Sensogan 14mm Loose Ring Snaffle is a much-needed update on a classic three-piece bit. Stainless steel rings attach to a mouthpiece made of Sensogan®, a proprietary blend of metals developed by specialists at Herm Sprenger. This is a gentle mouthpiece with a 45 degree forward tilt and a short middle piece that rolls on your horse's tongue when reins are engaged.
Details
- Sensogan®: A proprietary blend of Copper, Zinc, and Manganese oxidizes slowly over time. It has a pleasant taste for your horse and encourages salivation and bit acceptance.
- Forward angle: The 45 degree forward tilt on the mouthpiece is meant to create a sensitive connection between horse and rider.
- 14 mm mouthpiece: This 14mm mouthpiece delivers severe corrections to the tongue as pressure is exerted on a small surface area. Not recommended for younger horses without bit experience, this is a good choice for horses with larger lips and tongues.
- Direct action bit: Loose Rings are not fixed to the mouthpiece and are considered direct action bits. Any pressure applied to the reins is equally applied to your horse's tongue.
