Nick Haness
Nick Haness is a top hunter/jumper professional based in Temecula, California, where he runs Hunterbrook Farms. He’s known for his consistency in the ring and has built a reputation for producing top results in both hunters and jumpers across the country.
Named USEF National Equestrian of the Year in 2019, Nick is also one of only a handful of U.S. riders to surpass $5 million in career earnings. He was recognized as Chronicle of the Horse’s Hunter Person of the Year in 2022 and continues to add major wins to his record, including top finishes in leading hunter classes in 2024.
At the core of his program is a horse-first approach, with a strong focus on care, patience, and consistency. Something that shows in both his results and the way his horses perform.
Nick believes that the key to successful horses is happy horses. That’s why he always puts horse care first in his training program.
