    Description

The Toklat Parelli Myler Cradle C2 with a Sweet Iron Low Ported Barrel Narrow Mouthpiece (MB 43LP, Level 2-3) is a modified version of a Myler Combination Bit. The Narrow Low Ported Barrel mouthpiece works well for horses with solid basic training with a narrow port that offers significant tongue relief while still allowing for correctional pressure when needed.

    Key Benefits

    • Level Up: Myler's unique "level" system means there's a bit for your horse no matter their training. Level 2-3 bits offer precise control through ported mouthpieces that relieve your horse's tongue, however there will still be some degree of pressure for correction. Ideal for moderately experienced horses who show resistance to more restrictive bits.
    • The Basics: Stainless-steel 5" cheek with a flat braided nylon cord noseband and a knotted chin strap. Mouthpiece with a 1 1/4" port, made of sweet iron with copper inlay for salivation.
    • Cradle C2: A hybrid of a ring bit, shank bit, and hackamore. The purchase ring has connectors for the noseband and chin strap, with a large ring that attaches to the mouthpiece and includes rein attachment hooks. The braided noseband and knotted chin strap simulate the knotted rope halters used in the Parelli program and other Natural Horsemanship programs, providing a smooth transition from halter work to bit work.
    • Narrow Low Ported Barrel (MB 43LP): The mildest 2-3 with a narrow port for significant tongue relief. Slight pressure on the outside edges of the tongue when reins engage, a gentle reminder rather than a strong reprimand. Does not rotate on the tongue; little to no palate pressure.
    • Independent Swivel Cheek: The purchase of the cheek piece is able to move independently of the shank, preventing it from poking or rubbing the horse’s cheek when the reins are engaged.
    • Independent Side Movement: Each side of the bit can move on its own for more control and clearer communication between you and your horse.
