The Myler Lynn McKenzie Signature Series 3-Ring Combination with a Tie Down Mullen Triple Barrel (MB 32-3, Level 2) is a versatile hybrid bit designed specifically for barrel racing. The innovative mouthpiece features three barrels that allow tongue relief when relaxed, but provide excellent control by becoming a solid bar like a traditional mullen when reins are engaged.

    Key Benefits

    • Level Up: Myler's unique "level" system means there's a bit for your horse no matter their training. Level 2 mouthpieces generally give a more relief on the tongue and the curved mouthpiece collapses into a "U" shape to avoid pinching of the lips and bars. Ideal for a horse trained on the basics and working toward more bit freedom.
    • The Basics: Stainless-steel 6" cheek. Mullen mouthpiece made of sweet iron with copper inlay for salivation. Leather noseband with knotted cord and built-in tie down and a chin strap made of synthetic material to avoid stretching over time.
    • Lynn McKenzie Signature Series 3-Ring Combination: Provides versatility with 3-rings for rein position options providing direct or indirect action. Affects the nose, chin, and poll before the mouthpiece, allowing for more response time. Mouthpiece can slide 1" before engaging. Noseband and chinstrap are connected though the purchase, which swivels independently and is slightly angled to prevent rubbing.
    • Triple Barrel Mullen (MB 32-3): Alternative to a classic mullen. Flexible and forgiving when relaxed, solid with tongue pressure when engaged. The curved bar rotates across the bars and lips down onto the tongue, applying pressure across the entire surface of the tongue.
    • Independent Swivel Cheek: The purchase of the cheek piece is able to move independently of the shank, preventing it from poking or rubbing the horse’s cheek when the reins are engaged.
    • Independent Side Movement: Entire shank moves independently from the mouthpiece which means more control and clearer communication between you and your horse.
