The Myler Long Shank Combination Bit with a Low Port Comfort Snaffle (MB 04, Level 2) is a versatile hybrid bit that allows the horse more time to respond to rein pressure, as it affects the nose, chin, and poll before the mouthpiece. The Comfort Snaffle mouthpiece has a low port that provides some tongue relief, making it an ideal way for young and green horses making their way through the Myler bitting system to transition to Level 2.

• Level Up: Myler's unique "level" system means there's a bit for your horse no matter their training. Level 2 mouthpieces generally give a more relief on the tongue and the curved mouthpiece collapses into a "U" shape to avoid pinching of the lips and bars. Ideal for a horse trained on the basics and working toward more bit freedom.
• The Basics: Stainless-steel 7 1/2" cheek. Mouthpiece with a 1/4" port, made of sweet iron with copper inlay for salivation. Leather noseband with knotted cord and a chin strap made of synthetic material to avoid stretching over time.
• Long Shank Combination Bit: Provides versatility with rein position options for direct or indirect action. Mouthpiece can slide 1" before engaging. Noseband and chin strap are connected though the purchase, which swivels independently and is slightly angled to prevent rubbing.
• Low Port Comfort Snaffle (MB 04): Rotates and applies pressure on the tongue. Includes a low port for some tongue relief, a curved shape that wraps around the bars and lips to prevent pinching, and a center barrel to create kinder pressure distribution.
• Independent Swivel Cheek: The purchase of the cheek piece is able to move independently of the shank, preventing it from poking or rubbing the horse’s cheek when the reins are engaged.
• Independent Side Movement: Entire shank moves independently from the mouthpiece which means more control and clearer communication between you and your horse.
