    Description

The Myler Kimberwick with a Mullen Forward Tilt Ported Barrel (MB 36, Level 2-3) features D-shape rings and a purchase for two rein attachment options. The mullen mouthpiece works well for horses with solid basic training with a low, wide, forward angled port that provides some tongue relief when relaxed, but applies greater tongue pressure when the reins are engaged.

    Key Benefits

    • Level Up: Myler's unique "level" system means there's a bit for your horse no matter their training. Level 2-3 bits offer precise control through ported mouthpieces that relieve your horse's tongue, however, there will still be some degree of pressure for correction. Ideal for moderately experienced horses who show resistance to more restrictive bits.
    • The Basics: Stainless-Steel 4" rings with a purchase. Stainless-steel mouthpiece with a 1" port tilted forward at a 45º angle and copper inlay for salivation.
    • Kimberwick: D-shaped rings with a purchase to attach the headstall. Offers two rein attachment options for a single pair of reins: direct action or indirect action with mild leverage. Curb chain included. Designed for use with one pair of reins.
    • Mullen Low Port with Forward Tilt (MB 36): Myler alternative to a traditional mullen. The low, wide port offers enough tongue relief for the horse to swallow, but is not high enough for palate pressure. The forward tilted angle applies some tongue pressure, especially when the reins are engaged. Curved shape applies pressure mainly on the bars and lips without pinching them.
    • Independent Side Movement: Each side of the bit can move on its own meaning more control and clearer communication between you and your horse.
